Day three!

admin on: Harriers' School Journey

We had a very busy day Wednesday. Our three activities today were: blind line, eco art and ... the zip line!

The blind line was very fun and challenging due to the fact that we were all blind folded and needed to then work our way through an obstacle course through the woods.

Eco art art gave us a chance to enjoy the wildlife and forest around us.

And finally, the zip line, was quite simply.... AMAZING!!!

In addition to a busy day, we also had a rather busy night filled with water fights and a camp fire where we got to toast our own marshmallows! Year 5 took great pleasure in getting a few of the adults rather wet tonight!

Day two continued

admin on: Harriers' School Journey

One activity we did was the low ropes. We found the low ropes really good and we got to do a Tarzan swing using the rope!

The second activity we did was the tyre course. Unfortunately there was freak rainstorm when the children went through the tyre tunnel and some got verrrrryyyy wet!!

Another activity we did was the thunder stack! The aim was to get as high as possible without it falling.

And the final activity of the day was climbing! While some found this a little scary everyone acheieved and went higher than they planned to.

Day two!!

admin on: Harriers' School Journey

After a late night, we all woke up extremely early excited for the day's activities.

Yesterday we we did four different fun activities: tyre course where worked as a team to complete it; low ropes where we worked in pairs; climbing where we had to get as high as we could and lastly thunderstacking!

Finally, in the evening, we had the barn social! There was lots of eating, drinking, dancing and games.

Stay tuned for some photos of the different activities we did on Tuesday.

Day one!

admin on: Harriers' School Journey

The children have enjoyed lots of outdoor time today. We did one activity each today: the hive  (where we had to use our wits and brains, and some brawn) or the survival challenge (where children got to cook bread over a fire and have a go at making a fire!)

We have arrived!
