Hawksmoor School is an over-subscribed primary school and nursery in the heart of Thamesmead, Royal Borough of Greenwich. We have an excellent reputation in the local community for being a fully inclusive school. Our children are encouraged to achieve their personal best academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

Our dedicated team ensures all children achieve their best while enjoying their education. Through our rich and stimulating curriculum we aim to develop all our pupils into confident individuals who are ready to take on all of life's challenges.

About Us

Hawksmoor is a vibrant primary school with two forms of entry in the heart of Thamesmead.

We offer high quality education for children from 3-11 years old and welcome children from all religious and cultural backgrounds, those with disabilities and special needs.

The school is single storey and the classrooms are accessible for wheelchair users. There is ample play space, with separate, well-equipped, playgrounds for each key stage.
